Metro Fashion Police

You know those little tags that come on dress coats? The small rectangular ones that say things like "100% Wool" or "Wool/Cashmere Blend" and are sewn on the outside of the left sleeve, near the cuff? You're supposed to cut those off before you wear the coat. Seems like common sense, but spread the word. You'd be surprised how many people I see on the Metro who still have little statements about their coat's fiber content on their sleeves. When I see these people, I debate whether or not I should be a good samaritan and tell them. I probably should, but it's an unfriendly city and I might get verbally abused. Besides, the rule of the Metro is to crawl inside yourself and pretend you don't notice the strangers sharing your personal space. I find an iPod and the Sudoku in the free newspaper do the trick.
