Busy Busy

Lots going on the next couple weeks!

1. Tomorrow, I'm going to go down to the Mall with my new camera to take pictures of the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Rally.

2. On June 2, I'm going to run in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. 5K (just over 3 miles) is farther than I have ever run in one...um...sitting? If you'd like to donate, see my page. I'm running with a group from work called "Young Professionals for the Cure". I was hoping we could work a boob pun into our name, but got overruled. Either that, or I wanted to make shirts that utilize my frequent spelling error: "Fight Beast Cancer!"

3. On June 10 I'm going to San Francisco for 3 days. Our meeting agenda didn't work out to my advantage, so I will get home Wednesday night and have to turn around and fly back to Seattle on Friday afternoon. At least now I won't miss the last day of my French class--we're having "petit dejeuner" together!

4. Oh, and I'm going to Seattle! I'll get to see my friend Anne and document her swelling cankles with my new camera before she has her first child. Should be a fun long weekend of a little sight-seeing, seafood, coffee, and foreign films.
