Gettysburg

Stacey's in PA for the week for work, so I drove up and rescued her from the Quality Inn for the day. We had lunch and did a driving tour of the Gettysburg battlefield(s). Not long after she said she hasn't had morning/afternoon sickness in quite some time, poor Stacey threw up on Gettysburg. We had both ignored her earlier statement that reading maps in the car makes her queasy. At least she chose a stop sign as a target, instead of the adjacent monument to the 11th Massachusetts Cavalry! She was very considerate, worried that some nice family would have been looking for that particular marker, and she would have sullied their experience by throwing up on it. She was embarrassed, so like a good friend should, I comforted her by telling her I'd thrown up out the door of the very same car barely two months ago (yeah, mine was after a party, not a pleasant Sunday drive).
