I must be crazy...

...because I signed up for my first marathon--the 2009 Chicago marathon! My friend Dena, who's run 5 or 6 marathons, managed to persuade me. It's not until October 11, so we're going to come up with a training schedule when she returns from TDY in March. I figured, why the heck not? I'm not getting any younger, and I love Chicago! Plus, maybe this will be the extra edge I need to finally exist at my driver's license weight.
